Newest Review: ... for the calm and reasoned voice of law when a ship commander stands poised ready to strike. Show's Creator: I feel that here I should mention the show's creator, producer, and often, writer, Donald P. Belissario. Factually accurate, it is fascinating drama infused with many of the humorous moments that Bellisario is famous for in his other works, as well as the penchant for actual news and promotional film footage woven into relevant stories (such as shots of actual Tomcats taking off and landing on a real aircrft carrier). This makes the show realistic without being heavy. Himself a former Marine, he is a stickler for getting the mili... more

Premise: When I was a kid and off sick from school my Mom and I would relax on the sofa and watch reruns of Perry Mason. Oh, the excitement! A lawyer who investigated the crime, and then bared the shocking truth to all during a face off in a court of law! Bring this idea forward to present times, and for spin, make it a group of lawyers who are naval officers serving in the US Navy and Marine Corp's Judge Advocate General Corps. What a brilliant concept! The lawyers get to investigate all sorts of crimes, from petty theft, to murder, to high treason, recommend military charges, argue against each other in court, as well as advise on the legalities on how to apply ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Catherine Bell and David J. Elliot rock (142 words)

i have been watching JAG for about three or four years now, and i love the show. Catherine Bell and David James Elliot make the show great to watch, as their acting is incredible at times. One thing i have to comment on about the show though is that they seem to be playing a lot of things that seem hauntingly familiar...i think that they may be running out of story lines or something. jet crashes are getting old. rapes are getting old. i think maybe they should take a past episode and make a sequal to it. but they need to get rolling and start to think of some more creative, origional story lines. DOnt get me wrong, i am not dissing on the actors, they make the show ...  Read the complete review

Harm’s job as a JAG lawyer takes him all over the world and into all sorts of danger. In the episode, ‘The Bridge at Kang So Ri,’ Harm and Mac travel to Seoul to investigate an alleged war crime, which took place in 1950. Refugees were shot down by American soldiers, whilst trying to flee into South Korea, during the war. So much for a peaceful, uneventful flight! Renee Petersen, Harm’s latest (and feral) girlfriend arrives at the airport, with a camera crew in tow – planning to film a documentary at the bridge at Kang So Ri. Of course, once she sees Harm, she has another motive – to spend more time with him! ...  Read the complete review

What can I say, finally a show about the Navy which is more than how many bad guys can we shoot down in an hour. JAG (or judge advocate general)is the home of the navys best lawyers and of course our very own (and rather dreamy) Harmon Rabb Jnr. Played by David James Elliot, Harm is a piolet turned lawyer in a cruel twist of fate but that bennifited us. Harm works alongside Major Sarah Mackenzie of the marine corp and a rather anoying Australian called Brumby! The office is mainly run by Bud and Harriet who are the only two people who can use the phone Anyway JAG is a great show that provides an hours worth of entertainment ...  Read the complete review

Jag is back on television and there is about six episodes gone so far, Jag for me must be one of the best programmers on television. Jag stands for judges advocate general which is the legal department of the united states navy and marine core. Jag deal in the legal matters concerning navy personnel, they supply defense and prosecuting lawyers dealing with cases ranging from murder, rape to insubordination on board a ship. Jag personnel could be navel or marine. UPDATE This has only been shown for about five or six weeks, where has it gone? ...  Read the complete review
