great spin on a classic (Jekyll)

Advantages: fantastic!

Disadvantages: wish the series was longer

The 2008 BBC tv series Jekyll, starsJames Nesbitt, better known for comedy such as cold feet and the yellow page adverts, but here he moves onto a far more serious role.

in playing a descendant of the original dr jekyll, he now has to live with a body share in which he has murderous sprees under his other ego that he cannot control, whilst at the same trime trying to maintain a normal happy family life with his wife and his son.

He employs an assistant to help him document and deal with his dual personalities, played well by michelle ryan of eastenders fame.

unbeknown to him he is also being watched and followed by people out for it, providing another twist away from the tradition story of jekyll and hyde.

the acting in this tv series is absolutely top notch, and i have seen many films with poorer production values than this series. if you like horror and missed this on TV then it is definately a must buy, especially as its so cheap on amazon atm!

Summary: great series!
