Disadvantages: hard to understand language and mentality

I used to quite like Jerry Springer but I now find it unwatchable - why?

It may be my age (55) but I cannot understand the language - the 'normal' language - I need subtitles!!
Is it the amount of 'beeping out' that interferes with my cognitive abilities or is it that they don't speak English??!!

The topics are so sometimes so stupid I switch off.

Some of the guests are so crazy I despair on the human race.

WHY OH WHY do they feel sometimes that they have to take their clothes off? - UGH! If I wanted to view a horrible body I'd just go and look in the mirror!

I thought Jerry Springer used to be quite a genuine guy but I cannot help feeling he is living on his fame now - his closing words are staged and often condescending - if I wanted a sermon I would go to church.

Sorry if anyone loves this show, but I can now only watch this once a year - that's when I can't find anything else to watch on TV
