Advantages: Some entertainment factor at times.

Disadvantages: Bad language, fighting, some truly awful dregs of society here.

The Jerry Springer Show is an American chat show hosted by Jerry Springer where members of the public can bring up their issues such as obtaining DNA tests or having their partner hooked up to a lie detector test. Jerry tries to give both sides of the story to the viewers and then will give the results of any tests that are done or anything like that.

There is usually a lot of bad language and violence on these shows as people can hear what is being said about them back stage and then they come out and thump the person talking about them or just give them a verbal tirade.

I rarely watch show as there are only so many cheating husbands or bitch slapping friends that I can bear to watch. It's shown at miscellaneous times on quite a few different Sky channels but the main one is ITV2 and they normally have at least one episode on every day so it's fairly easy to come across an episode most days if you are at home during the daytime.

On the occasions that I do watch the show I often enjoy it as it makes me realise that my life & my family and friends are fine and at least they aren't worthy of being on a show such as this. I find Jerry's voice to be very irritating and he is usually winding people up to try and make better viewing which prompts chants of "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry" from the crowd which is quite irritating and a little bit pompous at times.

There isn't really anything I could recommend about this show unless you enjoy watching scum bags talking about the problems in their lives and all the things that everyone else around them has supposedly done wrong or how they aren't addicted to lottery scratchcards they just buy a few every hour!

I am rating this show 2/5 and have given it one above the lowest score purely because there is some entertainment factor to it and occasionally it's fun to watch.

Summary: A low-rate bad language bear fight by some awful people.
