This type of show I must confess is sort of my guilty pleasure and dirty little secret ;) I just love watching the mostly idiots make absolute fools of themselves by failing a lie detector or confessing an affair to their partner. I certainly does make for great television and hilarious entertainment and you might even get a few punch ups along the way!

Show History:
The show made its debut in 1991 on September 30th with talk show host Sally Jessy Raphael as its very first guest. The show's authenticity has been questioned a lot over the years due to the amount of fighting and violence that inevitably seems to break out on pretty much very show. Even Jerry's director of security who is often seen walking down the corridor with guests at the end of episodes had rocketed to fame and now even has his own talk show!

So..... What Is The Show About?
The show has pretty much the same layout as most talk shows these days do. Members of the public who ring the show with their various problems and then appear on the show in order to try and solve their issues. These issues can be pretty much anything: DNA tests, lie detectors to prove if the person has or has not cheated and even sometimes family issues all of which Jerry tries to solve in the show.
You should be prepared for strong language and violence in this show as it does often occur so the show is definatley not for children and young teenagers who are impressionable!!

What Do I Like About The Show?:
The drama, it seems to me so unlike real life that it makes it very entertaining. I cant understand why these people go on this type of show and basically air their dirty laundry in public, as I simply couldnt do it! I find it incredibly entertaining and a really funny show to watch, the violence and fighting only makes the show funnier and more of a joy to watch. I would recommend to evryone unless your easily offended by bad language or scenes of fighting. 7/10.
