Jerry Springer is an American chat show, which people appear on to confront their friends and relatives or tell them, something, usually "I'm having an affair", "I'm a lesbian", or some of the weirder ones, "I have a sex fetish".
It may be trashy, but it's really funny, especially when the guests try to go for the audience, shouting, "Come on b***h!"
The bouncer, Steve, who stops the guests fighting, is now the star of the show, the audience all chant, "Steve! Steve!" and want to feel his head! (He's bald).
A lot of Jerry Springer's guests are from the South and probably live in a trailer and I always think the men the women fight over aren't worth it.
Some of the strangest people on there have been a girl who said she'd been having an affair with a blow-up doll, a man who likes to sniff knickers and a man who likes to sleep with an ice sculpture!
Even though it has turned into a bit of a bullying show with the audience shouting, "You are gay!" and "Supersize w****e!", it's still funny.
The audience can ask questions near the end, but their comments are sometimes a bit harsh.
If you don't like watching the guests, you could always turn on at the end, when Jerry gives you "Springer's Final Thought" and advises people on relationships.
It is worth watching, it's good entertainment and makes you laugh.
