The amount of music channels available to us is constantly on the increase nowadays. We have channels for every genre you can imagine, hip-hop, pop, indie, club, everything! But there are relatively few rock ones. However, there is Kerrang!

Kerrang is the only rock channel you'll ever need. Its as simple as that.

If you're like me, music is a constant need throughout the day, and its the one music channel I could just switch on and leave on all day! They play a wide range music and subgenres within the rock/metal range, so you they will always play something you like. Bands such as My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine all recieve frequent air time. So, if you like such bands and everything in between then this really is the channel for you.

Throughout the day and night, they do specialised programmes, focusing on particular artists or genres, and they often do countdown shows, all of which make compelling and interesting viewing and listening. They often incorporate big names and bands to promote certain shows, for example The Offsprings's 50 Most Dumbass Videos. This adds a nice touch to certain shows, and shows the broad appeal of Kerrang and the shows diversity.

If you're interested in the rock genre, and you want to find new bands, Id highly recommend watching Kerrang. They have all the classic videos, as well as all the brand new ones, and they also broadcast videos to lesser known bands. So its a very good means through which to discover new bands.

One slight issue could be the overplaying of certain songs, which can lead to slightly repetitive tracks. Also, the adverts can drag on a bit and are a tad too frequent.
