Kids in the Hall was the sort of sketch show you'd never expect to come out of Belgium. Which is perfectly understandable, because it was written and perfomred by Canadians. The sketches feature the sort of absurdist humour that could get you locked up. One recurring character is a madman who spends his days by the roadside attempting to "squash" people's heads with his fingers. Then there's the kayaking Innuits who patrol corporate corridors catching executives for their "skins". Very close to being my favorite show of all time. I first saw the show years and years ago when the American cable channel HBO ( Home Box Office) started showing a few episodes. I was far too young to be watching this show ( I was about 12) but I was hooked straight away. The Kids In The Hall are a Canadian comedy group that specialises in doing sketch shows. They are obviously very strongly influnced by Monty Python. The sketches all have an off beat and quirky nature to them. In my experiance it is one of those shows that you either love or hate.
