Bob the Builder ... my first son was little, he didn t really watch much television. Until he found Bob the Builder!! He was only tiny when I first realised that the he could be screaming wildly, yet the second the theme tune began, silence. He was capitvated. And so it began. The obsession. Suddenly everything became about Bob, the fictional builder who worked and lived in Bobsville. He had a sidekick, Wendy, and bright coloured machines to do all the hard work, Dizzy, Lofty, Roley, Scoop and Muck. The episodes are short enough to keep a young child s attention, yet long enough to fulfill quite a good story. They teach children about friendship, helping each other and being ... Braceface ... is a Canadian animated series. It is produced by actress Alicia Silverstone who originally did the voice for the lead character. *Plot* The show is set in Elkford and is based around pre-teen Sharon Spitz, who is an eighth (later ninth) grader. The show revolves around her life in high school, her family and friends. Sharon likes a boy at school called Alden Jones and finally he notices her. Life is suddenly going great! - until - she has to wear braces! For most kids this is bad enough but Sharon s braces cause no end of havoc for her, sometimes electroucting objects, reversing walk-talkies and activating speaker systems without her knowing. Simpsons,The ... Simpsons started its life as a short piece of incredibly shoddy animation on the Tracy Ullman Show. Despite its crudely animated characters it was well received and on the 17th December 1989 it graduated to a fully fledged 30 minute prime time piece. Over the years the Animation has improved dramatically and the voice acting has become entirely more accomplished. To date there have been some 450 episodes and the show is now in its 21st season. The show is set in Springfield USA and there is a running joke that the exact location of the town is nearly revealed only to be cut short and remain a mystery, apparently if you look out for the clues the answer is there.
