Handy Manny TV Show:
... looooove this show. I actually look forward to watching it with my son on playhouse disney with his afternoon milk (that is a sad confession). It is based around Manny Garcia the friendliest workman ever and his talking tools (which nobody seems freaked out by). They live in sheeprock hills and repair anything and everything while singing and dancing the day away. Like most disney shows the music is really catchy ... Show Me, Show Me ... show is guaranteed to keep your little one glued! The presenters do not talk down to the children and also don t too too old for the job or too pretend happy . They can t be praised enough. This is basically an updated version of play school. There are toy characters, stories, songs, rhymes & making things (not food or messy stuff). Every episode follows the same pattern and it s very interactive. My little girl loves it if I join in and watch with her, getting a toy to sit with us when encouraged to, pointing to today s theme (green things, shoes etc) when it s our turn and obviously dancing in time with Chris & Pui. This is one for the sky+/V+ bo... Read the full review: fun, educational & engaging by justicerulesok |

Thunderbirds ... s a shame that they don t still make this show. It has heaps more charm than a lot of the current programmes which are aimed at kids on tv. Thunderbirds never really died, it continued to be repeated in the schedules and a boom in the nineties saw the show soar to great heights again, with a successful toy range and even a desirable Blue Peter Tracy Island! The show follows the exploits of the Tracy brothers, living at their secret hideway island and foiling the evil plans of criminal bald mastermind The Hood. The brothers all have different responsibilites and each brother looks after his own vehicle. Scott is in charge of Thunderbird One, a super rocket which trave... Read the full review: Look! King of the Hill ... a fan of animated comedy, when King of the Hill first hit our screens back in 1997, I was keen to see how it ranked against the other animations (though only The Simpsons really stood out back then). If you haven t seen the show before, it focuses round the everyday happenings of the Hill family (comprising of father Hank, mother Peggy and only son Bobby) in and around the town of Arlen, Texas. The Hill s are your typical hillbilly family, who have hearts in the right places, but don t exactly pride themselves on their appearances and behaviour. Hank is arguably the main character of the show, and he is regularly seen (even in the opening titles) standing in the street...
