Oops seems I held myself up to a bit of ridicule!! After noting in my opinion on Bargain Hunt that I was a fan of Kilroy people were not too positive about it!! Let me explain, at the moment I am a stay at home mum with a 3 year old and a 9 week old puppy, mind numbing though it already is, I'm addicted to chat shows, yes letters of sympathy will be gladly received. I can set the day by them, first Kilroy, then Trisha, then Maury Povich, then Ricky Lake, then Jerry Springer, then Jenny Jones, Jenny Jones again, Sally Jesse Raphael, then Maury again, Ricki again, and Jerry Springer again. By this time, luckily, my partner is home and waiting for his tea. ... Read the complete review

I have been there and done it, had my fifteen minutes of so called fame on Kilroy. So I thought I would share my behind the scenes experience with you. For those of you that have never watched the show. Kilroy is an audience discussion show where people voice their views, feelings and experiences on a topic they feel strong about. The show is presented by Robert Kilroy, aka Robert Kilroy-Silk a former politician. The show is broadcast on Monday-Friday at 9am for an hour. He;s got such lovely, steel grey hair, that pert, pouting mouth and tan out of the bottle that you just can't fail to fall for his doubtful charms now can you girls? It works for Mr Silk himself anyway, because clearly he looked in the mirror and found that visage to be the thing that he most loves in all the ... Read the complete review

I vaguely remember in the dim and distant past that Kilroy was quite good, as these types of programs go. He is obviously quite an intelligent man, with a good background in current issues and the law. But having had to endure a week of morning TV and Kilroy, I have to say what a completely condescending idiot he has grown into. He is just so smug and smarmy, moving from one unfortunate audience member to the next, giving them his soft voice and self opinionated advice on how to better their lives. You can almost see them cringing and shying away as he gets far too familiar with some of them, especially the female members of the audience. On many ... Read the complete review
