Advantages: Some interesting subjects
Disadvantages: Change the record!
How many more chat shows are we going to get on our tv? Every morning the wrinkled face of Kilroy Silk appears on our screen. His topics are alleged to be controversial and cause angry responses. I suppose they would be if he ever let the people talk! The number of times he has finished their sentences for them! It's just an excuse for him to talk about himself! 'When I was in parliament', 'my wife says', 'my daughter says', 'my mum this and that','I'm a dog lover' ,'my dad used to say' ,'my dad died' the list goes on and on. For heavens sake Kilroy shutup and let the people argue amongst themselves it would be far more interesting and we might learn something from them. Can you imagine him on American chat shows, they'd crucify him and demand double the episodes of Jerry Springer! On that subject, is this show done purely to shock the public? I'm sure we are experts on transexuals, gays, cross dressers and deceiving partners by now. Look at the reactions of the partcipants, surely they are fake. They must have got them from the local acting school. Fake punches, leering looks, stumbling on the stage...take a close look next time you watch. Our own Vanessa Feltz was criticised because she was said to have had fake items on her show. So what's new the USA do it all the time. Our own dear Trisha is becoming hard done by, by trying to compete with the other shows. Where do they get the people from? The subjects are really naff. Why do nearly all of them say ' you know what I mean', ' at the end of the day' and speak in a monotone way. Is that how other countries would see the British? We are so reserved in our subjects and we mustn't cause offence. Has Jerry Springer ever cared if he hurt our feelings if we happen to be gay, transvestite or green with purple spots. No is the answer! Now 'at the end of the day' we
go to bed and get up the next morning to do it all again 'if you know what I mean'
