Advantages: Great cast and characters.

Disadvantages: Can get a little samey if you watch too many episodes at once!

I don't usually like American sitcoms, but this one I actually enjoy....alot.

There are many reasons why I like this show so much, one being that Leah Remini (Carrie Heffernan) is incredibly sexy, another being Jerry Stillers role as Arthur, Carrie's live in Father.
Arthur is responsible for some of the biggest laughs in the show, due to his senial and brutally honest opinions and mad cap ideas - you can see where Ben Stiller got his comedy genes from (Jerry is Ben's dad!)

The show revolves around the married life of Carrie and Doug Heffernan (Doug played by Kevin James), who argue and bicker at every opportunity, usually resulting in Carrie making some comment or another about Doug's weight and health, which is the butt of many a joke.

Kevin James is great as Doug, and is an instantly likeable character with his child like mannerisms and attitude to life as he plods through life working as a delivery driver and generally enjoying life in it's most simple form.

The laughs come thick and fast, and the acting and script writing is of a very high quality compared to some of the other US sitcoms that we get lumbered with.

Carrie's cutting comments, Doug's oafish behaviour and Arthur's insanity all add up to a great show filled with laughs!

Summary: One of the best from the US.
