The King of Queens is a hit american sitcom currently showing on Comedy Central (previously Paramount Comedy) It is witty, inteligent and one of my favourite comedys in recent years.

It centres around delivery man Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) and his feisty wife Carrie, a secretary for a law firm. It shows them dealing with lifes everyday challenges while living with Carries father Arthur (Jerry Stiller) Created by David Litt and on our screens since September 2004, this show will make you laugh and cry.

My favourite character is Arthur (Ben Stillers father in real life) who is witty, quirky and a bit of an oddball. Anytime im having a rubbish day, i just watch a few episodes of this and it lifts me. The show was nominated for a primetime emmy and if you watch it you will see why. Kevin James has brilliant comedic timing and you can relate to almost everything which is happening in the show.

If you like "Everybody loves Raymond" you will love The King of Queens. Give it a go next time you need a giggle!
