Advantages: Treguard, The Show Itself, Series' 1 - 5

Disadvantages: Majida (Sorry, but you got irritating), Series 8 , Nothing Else - It rocked!

OK, I will admit now, that it was I who got Knightmare onto DooYoo, and yes, partly because I wanted to help the BBK - Bring Back Knightmare cause. However, i also did it because i wanted to see how many people remember the programme.
When Knightmare began in 1988 i was 5 years old, and was scared sh**less. I had to have my Dad sit with me, so i didn't scream. By the way, my dad also got interested in it, but only until Series 6, when even he thought it began rolling downhill slightly. The programme was unique, it was a brilliant change from mainstream kids TV, i mean, had anyone else seen a Medievil Castle, with adventures down below? Had anyone seen a Kids Show with a rea adventure, not made up, and such that the writers had little influence as to what happened? NO!
The programme is the best ever, and even now i find myself watching past episodes of which i taped. Please everyone, help get it back: visit Knightmare.com's petition, and also vote for it on Channel 4's website for the best Kids TV shows - it's number 47 and thank you!

I used to love this programme when I was a kid. Like Cattycat I only gave you a 'somewhat useful' because you don't say much about the programme itself. Write a more detailed op and I'll definitely be back to read it - after I've signed the petition that is!

A great programme and one that is sorely missed... even though I'm 23 now! :) It scared the hell out of me too until instead of the scary skull showing the life force they used a flipping cake instead... ooooooooooo scary! :) - Good op, Dave

I remember it and I agree with you - it was a good programme. I have given you a 'somewhat useful' rating because if I didn't know the programme I would be none the wiser. You need more detail. I am off to sign the petition!
