Advantages: Occasionally entertaining (what more can you ask for?)

Disadvantages: A loose demonstration of stand-up and cross-questioning.

He’s a far better host than a comedian but combining both is seemingly hard.
From the supremely odd introduction sequence that has his head superimposed on a naked baby’s body, singing some ghastly lyrics to the style of the show, he does himself no favours.

Every show is supposed to tackle an issue but it is only vaguely covered. The guests are supposedly a representation of the topic that Lamarr is talking about but he covers very little ground and generally is an assault on the guest rather than the topic.

It’s overall a strange and empty experience and does itself no favours borrowing from the templates of similar shows based in the US such as Dennis Miller’s and Chris Rock’s which aren’t that good but are far wittier and salacious than Lamarr’s lame attempt.

Word around town (as it were) is that it'll be back for a second series.
