Did you sit down on Monday night and watch this show after Eastenders? I didn't, but don't get me wrong the show is infact quite funny! I watched the episode last week and was pretty impressed! The show I watched was what I am led to believe the first of a new series. The series looks set to go ahead with many viewers across the nation! The show is a comedy done by Lee Evans and Chris O'Donell, it is hilariously funny and well worth a watch, if your anything like me sitting in front of the TV during the evening, it's very hard to get up! Especially as Eastenders has just finished! So DON'T get up, I suggest you sit there and watch the show, ... Read the complete review

Lee Evans- So what now? is the latest comedy from the BBC. Well, they say it's a comedy, I personally think it is a load of rubbish that should not be shown on TV. Like marmite, Lee Evans is one of those shows you either love or you hate, I hate it and after watching the first few I gave up. Lee Evans is a man who is looking for a place to stay after his wife kicks him out. Then when he burns his best friend's flat down, he is stuck with finding a place for them both to stay. So, after visiting a couple of houses he finally finds one, a house owned by a woman aged about 30. So thats the first episode. After that we just get a few amusing incidents ... The problems with this programs include: - Its funny - Its to predictable So Lee Evans is walking up a steep hill with a sofa on wheels. Guessed what gonna happen? You'd have to be a little bit thick not to wouldn't you? That the main problem with Lee Evans, its like 'Whilst I'm out the room Don't Touch that button it'll destroy the world!' and then Lee Evans would trip on something fall on the button and destroy the world. Basically, its a program for little kids. I find it very hard to laugh at whats going on as I've usually already guesses whats gonna happen a decieded its not funny (which it usually isn't). ... Lee (an accident prone but likeable guy)cruelly pushed out on to the street by Eileen his wife seeks help from Stuart (Oliver Hardy type character to Lee's Stan Laurel)his best friend. During his first night stay Lee accidently sets fire to Stuarts house and they both end up renting a room from Heather(a man eater from a privileged back ground but apparently fallen on hard times.)Despite Heather wanting one lodger Stuart says "well look at it this way you get two lodgers for the price of one rent." and so the dynamic trio are born. The rest of the story is geared around Lee's accidents adventures with his two friends. What's up now? is a ... Read the complete review

Ho hum. Maybe I’m just showing my age but this ‘new’ comedy show – “So What Now?” looks very familiar to me. The programme has three main stars – Lee Evans (who writes the show), Steven O’Donnell and Sophie Thompson who are Lee, Stuart and Heather respectively, sharing a house together. You can see it (if you want to!) on Monday nights, BBC1, usually at 8.30pm after Eastenders, but tonight, for some reason, it was on earlier. Hmmm, I’m thinking “Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em” (1970s), I’m thinking “The Young Ones” (1980s), I’m thinking I’ve seen it all ... Read the complete review
