Advantages: This is something new, and here's no tmuch new about these days

Charlie Crews was a police man wrongly convicted of murder, he was given life in prison. 11 years later he proves his innocence and leaves prison as a millionaire and a police detective (both his settlement from the state).

his time in prison gave him a long time to reflect and he decided to replace his anger with Buddhism, this leads to a very unusual, almost child like character but due to being a police officer in prison there is also a dark side to reflect the things he done to survive that sentence.

Charlie now lives in a mansion with his ex con friend, however the mansion has no furniture in it to speak of and the only time the main character seems to spend is there is working out who framed him for the murders he got punished for.

The entire of the first season's main story is Charlie's said investigation into that, however there are many other stories to go with it. After 11 years a lot has changed in the world and Charlie getting used to these new things provide some comedy moments (without getting silly) there's also him dealing with the fact his wife divorced him after the court hearing and has re married.

This is a really good series with one of the most interesting main characters I have seen for many years. Well worth a watch.
