Advantages: Funny for one episode

Disadvantages: Copy cat humour

This show was basically funny in the first series but after that I soon got bored with it as they just tended the rehash the same old jokes every week so it got tired rather quickly, even when they introduced new characters they soon feel into recycling the same old stuff.

The show is a thirty minute series of sketches starring Matt Lucas and David Wallams. The problem with this show is that before it starts I can pretty much tell you what the jokes will be, there will be a sketch about a fat bloke in a wheelchair who can actually walk and does things behind the back of his carer, there will be a fat bloke who claims to be the only gay in a Welsh village when in fact the whle village is gay which presents the opportunity for some old people to mention rimming, and there will be an effeminate civil servant who is in love with the Prime Minister.

There are many other characters and a lot of the humour is intended to shock such as the young lad who has a thing for old people or the middle class lady who projectile vomits at things but overall if you have not yet seen this show then you really are not missing out on much. If you do want to see some cutting edge anarchic in your face comedy then get a DVD of Bill Hicks and appreciate some true talent.

Summary: Not funny
