Live & KickingNewest Review: ... kids to the show, making it fun and also appropriate. Sadly, the show began to get a little risque as the presenters changed, and the complaints started rolling in particularly where the content was concerned. Presenters such as Katy Hill and Trey Farley did their level best to keep a sinking show floating but to no avail. Live & Kicking combined energetic presenting with a good mix of games and cartoons. As a kid, the cartoons were my highlight of Saturday morning TV shows, and Live & Kicking incorporated some popular ones such as Rugrats and Smart Guy, interspersed with a good range of entertainment. Live & Kicking was the BBC's attempt at a revival of the Saturday morning show for kids. When I was younger, Saturday morning TV was one of the things to look forward to during the week at school, but the situation appears to have gradually deteriorated over the past 15 years or so. Live & Kicking was at its prime when presented by Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston. The presenters had a way of attracting the kids to the show, making it fun and also appropriate. Sadly, the show began to get a little risque as the presenters changed, and the complaints started rolling in particularly where the content was concerned. Presenters such as Katy Hill and Trey ... I felt that I needed to give my opinion on this established Saturday morning childrens programme. I started to watched this, with my son every Saturday morning, and we have been doing so since Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston were the presenters. At the time of Zoe and Jamie's reign this was a well produced programme. There were no smutty jokes or bad language. It was a thoroughly decent show that my son (4yrs)enjoyed. We continued to watch when Zoe and Jamie left. The show was not as good as before,it lacked the sparkle that it's previous presenters brought to it. So we were not surprised that this run of L & K was to have different presenters. ... Read the complete review

I feel that the BBC have gone straight to the bottom of the Saturday morning ladder. I had stayed a devoted watcher of L&K from when it started to when the end of the series when Zoë and Jamie left. Then, once Emma and Steve were on I noticed it to be a little poorer and I gradually was swayed over to SMTV Live on ITV. But now, having watched the latest attempt to defeat the CITV show I have realised just how much the BBC are struggling to keep this show afloat. There are now 4 presenters. Is that really worth it? isn't two enough? Who are these people anyway? I can understand Katy Hill being in there due to her past with CBBC ... Read the complete review

Live and kicking is a show that is on every saturday morning at 9:00. They seem to have different presenters each time there is a new series. But maybe that is the point of the show to have new presenters each series. At the moment they have 4 presenters normally they have 2 butnow 4. They are Katy Hill from blue peter, Sarah Kawood, Trey Farley and Ortis. I think that 4 presenters is a bit too much for the show and 2 would be better. It is aimed at children and teenages. In the program they have alot of celebrity guests. Also they have alot of programs such as Rugrats, Big wolf on Campus, Pokemon, Monster rancher and Smart Guy. Overall i think that Live and Kicking is ... Read the complete review
