Advantages: it has some cool tattoos by Dan and Phil

Disadvantages: it's not entertaining very often

And here it is, us Brits jumping on the "ink" bandwagon in a program that is only worth watching for the cringe factor.

Same format as usual, some tattooing and some story from the lives of the artists, only here it's about as forced as you can get.

First we have the boss, Lou Malloy, he is the one who done Beckham's angel, and he has made a fortune from it ever since.

We have Dan who is the apprentice type person (more on that later). Phil who is the seasoned pro and Aussie Kat Von D.

Now Lou is a good tattooist, he's not the worlds best but he is neat and tidy, the trouble is he has no personality at all. He tries playing up to the camera but he just comes across as a complete fool.

Dan, here to be the apprentice, which is odd because he is a pro tattooist with many years of experience, with a successful studio and a huge client list. Pitting him here as the man who needs Lou's help is shocking, his style is his own and nothing like Lou's, they are the opposite end of the scale in terms of what they do.

Phil is a very good tattooist, who does old school in a really cool way, he seems like a nice guy but again not exactly the personality for TV (but then Dan hasn't got the face for TV love him).

Then the woman (I can't even remember her name), she is obviously here to build on the Kat Von D factor and it simply doesn't work. While she is a nice tattooist, everything else about her is as rough as they come.

To keep up with it's American rivals London Ink also pulls in the celebs, and well needless to say they are not as big or as a cool as those in Miami or LA.

this show didn't need to be a made at all, a show about traditional tattoo studio in the UK would have been great, not some show about 4 people thrown together to work in what we're suppose to believe is a real studio.

Terrible.

Summary: this show didnt need to be like this, it could have been british and not copy the US shows

sounds intriguingly terrible. I quite like intriguingly terrible, when it comes to reality shows.
