Channel 4's "The Lost Garden " is a strange choice of a programme for me to enjoy. I have no interest in gardening - too much hard work and I see enough plants at work! However, this programme really appeals to me. It is presented by Monty Don and broadcast on Channel 4 on a Thursday night 8 - 9pm. The idea behind the series is that a team of gardeners, landscapers and historical horticulturists try to recreate gardens that have long since disappeared into the wilderness or have over-grown - all in the space of 5 days.
