Advantages: Mysterious, intrigueing, compelling

Disadvantages: It ended!

Lets be honest, this was by far the best season of Lost, and probably one of the best seasons out of any television show ever. Now I am certainly not saying the following seasons are not good, I am still highly addicted and thankful that the newest season has finally started.

Season 1 for those of you who do not know entailed Oceanic flight 815 crash on a mysterious island inhabited by "The Others." For me it was this aspect of the program that has put it head and shoulders above anything else I have ever watched. The complete and utter mystery it involved is simply untouchable. It is what made the show so highly addictive, quit literally.

Lost season 1 combines an element of fear, mystery and light hearted fun, from mysterious "Monsters" to playing a round of golf on the island Jack, Kate, Sawyer,Locke, Sayid and Hurley are the main charachters along with other names that would take too long to list.

In my opinion, although greatful for some answers recieved in reference to the story line, I believe lost to be the best season because we knew nothing about the Others and therefore it was much scarier.

I predict it will be a very, very long time, if ever a tv series beats lost season 1. Agreed?

Summary: Greatest series on tv ever!

I liked this one but gave up after 2. It became a soap opera.
