Love Thy Neighbour has got to be one of the best 70's sitcoms. Its hard to compete with some of the rest but how they were made back in the day, today's rubbish doesn't have a patch on these kind of shows. Also I don't think they would get away with showing this sort of programme these days for political reasons. Love Thy Neighbour was based on two families, a normal working class white family, who found themselves living next door to a black couple, and the day to day issues of the two different ethnic orientation trying to get on.
