Newest Review: ... runs his "Island Hopper" chopper service on the islands, Rick runs the King Kamehameha Club. Magnum has now set himself up as a Private Investigator on the Island and works just about any case that comes his way. He stays in the 'guest house' of a beachfront estate, known as Robin's Nest, Which is owned by the never seen Robin Master's. The estate is run by Jonathan Quayle Higgins III with whom Magnum regularly butts heads over the use of the other amenities in the estate and of course the Ferrari 308 GTS. This program is one of my Favourites of all time!. Set in the wonderful Oahu, Hawaii. which is a beautiful idealic setting. I fell in love with the gorgeous backdrops and scenery in this show. It has made me always want to go to Hawaii - something that I have yet to do but theirs always time! Magnum was created by Donald P. Bellisario & Glen A. Larson which is quite a combination. Bellisario is responsible for such Juggernauts as the original Battlestar Galactica, Airwolf, Quantum Leap, JAG, and NCIS. When I think of my ideal programme it involves a tall dark handsome man, loads of money and a fast car. I think I must have found it in Tom Selleck, his borrowed Ferrari and the Hawaiian islands. A private eye is who Tom plays, solving mysteries mainly for beautiful female clients (yes i am jealous)no foul language or violence here, just tasteful tv and I love the programme to pieces. The scenery is brilliantly filmed and Toms friend with the helicopter always makes me laugh, you've got to watch the programme to really appreciate it, it's very hard to describe. ...
