Advantages: short enough for a toddler not to loose interest
Disadvantages: None
As the mother of a two year old with a very short attention span, I find Maisy Mouse is an ideal program for toddlers. The storys are clear and simple and easy for a small child to follow. Neil Morrisey's narration is excellant, proving that he is indeed a man who does not always behave badly1 It is bright and olourful, and holds my daughters attention for the whole of each episode, which is no mean feat! The story content is alys acceptable, from a mothers point of view it helps to teach our children the sort of behaviour and morals we wish them to learn. The tv series is supported by excellant books and videos, which are a godsend if you have something you need to be doing without a toddler helping. Long may it continue I say!!

- 20/10/00 Don't know if you know or not, but B&Q do the large re-stickable wall stickers of Maisy Mouse! I think I paid £9.99 and there are about 15 large and loads of little add ons (they are all themed ie. Maisy in the bath, at the seaside, on the farm etc.) My little one loves them! |
