Man from U.N.C.L.E.Newest Review: ... Its a typical 1960s show with the cold war theme and the hippy like chicks. The show centres around the secret agents Napoleon Solo played by Robert Vaughn and David McCallum plays his sidekick with a Russian name I wont even attempt to spell. It was brilliant fun all the way through so why dont they show it anymore?? That is they dont in the UK anyway, for some perculiar reason its on in Sweden all the time. Anyway the show was magnificent despite being amazingly corny. The spies used pens as walkie talkies to communicate with each other! amazing! they dont make them like this anymore. Is it just me who reminisces about the good old days when Man From UNCLE was on with a tear in my eye? For lets face it this is one of the most entertaining television shows ever created. Its a typical 1960s show with the cold war theme and the hippy like chicks. Espionage, guns, seduction, sharp suits and turtle necks. That was what the man from U.N.C.L.E was all about. And you’d better remember those stops in between the capital letters of uncle, otherwise it would be a silly name for a covert operations organisation. You couldn’t have people think you were talking about your father’s brother rather than the United Nations Council for Law Enforcement. The man from U.N.C.L.E was a movie that I have never seen that got turned into a TV show, that I have.
