Advantages: original sci-fi tv, great sfx

Disadvantages: cheesy dialogue, 80s hairdos

Remember that 80s show where the guy could turn into animals to help solve murder cases? Chances are you can't.
It was only ever shown once, on BBC1 at around 7pm. I must have been about 8 or 9. It starred someone called Simon MacKordindale who was British I think. He played 'JC' who, by some mysterious American Indian magic, could temporarily turn into the animal of his wishes. Hence, via some pretty nifty 80s special effects, he could become a horse, panther or eagle to catch up with, spy on or apprehend some bad guy. All in the name of crime fighting.
I think it also starred Melody Anderson who was in the Flash Gordon movie.
Instead of repeating The A-Team and Knight Rider every ten minutes, let's see some really great cheesy TV.
