Advantages: Brilliant script

Disadvantages: None

This was a carcking little comedy that featured the comic talents of Rob Brydon who can be seen on another cult comedy Gavin and Stacey which recently cleaned up at the TV awards and he also has his own chat style show which is very funny under the name of Keith Barret.

The Barret character also appears here, originally the character was seen in short monologues where he sat behind the wheel of his car talking to the camera detailing his life following his spereation from his wife Marion and his visits to see his son.

For this thirty minute comedy Keith is now a chauffer for an merican film director and he is charged with driving the mans son backwards and forwards to school each day.

The strength of this comedy rests entirey on the strength of the script and the great comic delivery of Brydon, Barrett is a rather sad character who still tries to be optomistic about life and this comedy is just hilarious. I was initially scepical that it would translate into a longer format but it works wonderfully well and it was amazing that this did not attract bigger viewing figures.

Summary: Excellent comedy starring Rob Brydon
