Advantages: original and very,very funny
Disadvantages: can't buy the video!!, shown too late at night
I hate to admit this, but I've only ever seen one and a half episodes of the second series! However, that was enough for me to realise I'd been missing out on something pretty special! The programme is all about a guy called Keith, who works as a driver, and spends his time between jobs talking about his life to the camera on his dashboard. Keith is divorced from Marion (who is now living with Geoff) but it appears he's still having trouble getting over his past marriage, and finding it rather hard to look ahead. Although Keith is obviously still hurting, and bitter that another man has moved in on his wife and family, he's always trying hard to give the impression that there are no hard feelings! In fact it seems unlikely Keith would EVER have a bad word to say about anyone at all - and he's always trying to look on the bright side of life and find that elusive silver lining. I suppose the main joke that runs through the series is the title of the programme! You see it's very much a one-man show - apart from the odd jogger running past his car Keith is the only person we ever get to meet. Even Marion and Geoff never appear in the programme themselves, but yet we know them so well through Keith's obvious obsession with them! Hilariously funny, sometimes sad, great comedy drama, very much recommended.

- 20/07/03 Not sure about the show, can't say it especially appeals to me. And don't worry about the first op syndrome, mine was dire. You've done a great job with later ops though. |

- 06/04/03 Hey there - popped back in and re-read/rated! But it was by pure chance that I found it as I was catching up with reading some of your other opinions! If you update, there's no shame in letting people know. :o)
I do love this programme though, although I feel so bad for poor Keith! |
