Advantages: Al Bundy
Disadvantages: none
Married with Children, I never seen it when it was first screened, but view almost it all when repeated on sky one and now paramount. It is the typical problem family but exagerated to a incredible amount, Al is the 'hero' of the long running series, Peggy is the lazy wife, Kelly is the slutty trampy daughter, Bud just seems to be the geeky son , also there is buck the dog as well as Marcy the man like neighbour with her husbands. Al the shoe salesman in his eternal struggle against the world and women in particular. He 'loves girls but hates women' - the particular women being his wife, his mother in law, fat women who he serves at work and his neighbour. To escape his hellish life he uses many escapisms - reminising about his legendary high school 'football' days ( ps its not football check my other op), beer, TV, Strip clubs and his movement group against feminism. This series had many great episodes - one where Als barber died and him and his friends had to resort to the dreaded 'Salon', or when his favourite TV show 'Psycodad' ( the greatest theme tune) was going to be canceled. A great series which must be watched, you will find yourself totally agreeing with nearly everything Al says.
