Advantages: Highlights of best action

Disadvantages: None if your a footy fan

Match Of The Day 2 was brought in due to the amount of football matches that are played on sundays nowadays. Of course nobody got to see the action that happened on sunday because there was only match of the day on a saturday. Because of the demand to see football action BBC managed to put a second match of the day on tv last season to let everyone view all the action that happened over the whole weekend. Of course the show is put on BBC 2 so not to interfere with the sunday night line up on BBC 1. So basically putting it on BBC 2 keeps everyone happy.

Any true fan wants to see all the action from England's top league and MOTD2 gives them a chance to do this. MOTD2 shows all the action from Sundays with about 10-15 minutes highlights of each game. Also for anyone that missed Saturdays Match Of The Day the goals from all the other premier league games are shown.

The show is good and features different guests every week. The show is usually fronted by Adrian Chiles and it is actually quite a fun program to watch. Each match is lightly analysed by the Presenter and the guests. Also the show finishes off with a few funny things that happened during the weekends football.

As well as this the league table is shown so you can find out how well or how badly your team is doing. The team also sometimes discuss who's going to win the league or who's going to go down etc etc. The show also features player and coaching staff interviews so you can find out just what the professionals think of what happened in there games

Overall MOTD2 is a good entertaining way to see all the weekends premier league football action. If your not into football then don't bother watching it but if you want to you can usually catch it on a sunday night at 10pm on BBC2

Summary: Great show for anyone interested in football
