Advantages: Funny, Factual, Entertaining, Football Packed

Disadvantages: Only Premier League Highlights, No Other Leagues

Match of the day 2 is a footballing programme shown on Sunday nights during the football season at around 10:00pm to show highlights of Sunday premier league matches. The show is sort of a follow on to Match of the day which is shown usually on Saturday nights at around the same time. (sometimes for special occasions match of the day may be shown midweek to show midweek premiership matches).

Match of the day 2 is almost the same as Match of the day but for 1 or 2 differences and different features. For example, match of the day 2 will generally show less football match highlights due to most of the football matches being played on a Saturday in a weekend. In a normal match of the day 2 programme, 1-4 football match highlights will be shown

Match of the day 2 also includes different features in the programme compared to match of the day, such as, "2 good, 2 bad" and Kevin Day spending a day with some die hard fans of a particular premier league club.
"2 good 2 bad" is a section of the programme which shows viewers some specially selected clips from the weekends premiership matches, some of them will be great goals, great skills etc . . . or they will be unfortunate happenings such as ball boys slipping over etc . . .

Adrian Chiles usually presents match of the day 2 and in my opinion he does a great job, he is usually joined on the big red sofa by a few guests or co-presenters such as Alan Hansen, Alan Shearer, Mark Lawrenson, Alex McLeish etc . . . All of these people work together to present the show and analyse the days football

This is a great, well presented, funny and accurate football programme that is a must watch for all football fans

Summary: Very entertaining and football filled
