Megastructures is a great series of documentaries from the National Geographic channel which looks at feats of engineering from all around the world. It maybe quite sad, but the wife and I both enjoy sitting down and watching the odd documentary, usually with a look of awe on our faces asking each other "how did they do that?". I think we first got into Megastructures when we saw the programme on how they created the Palm Islands in Dubai. Now, if you don't know about this - do a quick Google search on it... they have created their own islands off the coast of Dubai by dredging up the sea floor and positioning it into the shape of palm ...  Read the complete review
