MelanieNewest Review: ... update programme on Dec. 23rd, I thought you might like to know the latest on Melanie. She is still vehemently denying the "sex vixen" (as she calls it) image, feeling angry at her portrayal on the programme. However, she will soon be on TV presenting Chained, which she describes as "a really extreme dating show", where contestants are chained to several members of the ... more |

Melanie Hill may have interested several male viewers and certainly got the attentions of Tom and other men in the house, but she also really annoyed many women watching at home. Here was an intelligent woman, who was able to converse on virtually every subject in a very eloquent way. So why did she feel the need to use her sexuality all the time to enhance her popularity ? When she began her flirtations with Andrew, I thought it was a genuine romance and that it was very sweet. But when he left and she moved swiftly on to Tom, it showed how meaningless it all was to her and that did her no favours with the women watching. Since ... Read the complete review

Melanie started Big Brother as a favourite but to the end she was hated by many and regarded as a scheming flirt who got jealous of Claire and wanted all the attention from the males. When Mel left Big Brother she was cheered by the crowd buy also booed. Mel has had a very hostile reaction from the crowd. In a recent episode of Panorama Mel and “Nasty Nick” have spoken out about the way they were portrayed on the show, she says she was stereotyped as a "sexy little babe" before she even entered the house. Mel has said she’s very unhappy on how she was shown on TV and how the programme was edited. Fellow Big Brother ... Read the complete review

Mel certainly got the public's tongues wagging. Love her or hate her, people wanted to talk about her. Personally I like her. Yes she was flirty but that makes for interesting TV. One of the reasons a lot of people were watching Big Bro was to see some of the housemates jumping into bed with each other. But then they went and critised her for it. You just can't win with some people. Mel was a very good member of the household when it came to doing tasks, entertaining each other and the viewers. She was very strong but not too strong willed that it caused problems within the house. Mel's been fairly quiet since the end of Big Bro but I did ... Read the complete review

I really like Melanie, she was my favourite. And I was really disappointed that everyone turned on her. OK, she was a bit of a flirt but she was interesting. All was going well for her until Clair came in and took over. I, think everyone by the end really like Claire, and when she said she didn't like Melanie, the viewers turned on her and voted Mel out. Which was a bit of a shame. She had become great friends with Anne, and had romantic flings, with Tom, Andy emmmm Darren and flirted with Craig. That was all the members except the women....... She says she likes Tom, but from what I have gathered he like Claire, so that makes things ... Read the complete review

There's nothing worse than someone who thinks they are popular and good looking, but actually aren't. Mel tries it on with all of the blokes, and when they are sucked in she drops them quickly. She even tried it on with Anna after all of the men dried up! She's quite vicious with her tongue and she has manipulated and played with the feelings of most of the household. I don't like her one bit and I am glad she had the highest amount of votes against her. The usual magazine spreads will no doubt come flooding in for her, but if she wasn't on this show she'd still be a nobody. ... Read the complete review
