Men Behaving BadlyNewest Review: ... vastly and even the pubs have changed from the ones depicted in this programme. Men Behaving Badly was solely responsible for me moving out of my Mum's house when I was 17, as I longed to live the MBB lifestyle - having fun, living with a mate and drinking. Not the kind of lifestyle that would be encouraged in this day and age, but if the results were to be any where near as much fun as this programme was, then it'd be worth it. For me the series went down hill once Tony and Debra got together, as it lost it's magic, and just became a comedy about 2 couples and the jokes suffered as a result. But prior to that, MBB is TV comedy go... more |

They don't make them like this anymore! What a great sitcom Men Behaving Badly was, it's one of the few comedy series I can watch over and over again and still find it funny, thanks mostly to the brilliantly cast Gary Strang (Martin Clunes), who struggles through his mid 30's trying to cling onto his youth by drinking, eating kebabs and living with his equally troubled mate, Tony. The on screen chemistry between all the characters is great, and you can tell that on and off screen, the cast must have a 'right good laugh' making this program. It's great to watch this series back now, to see how life was in the 90's - the fashion has ... Read the complete review

Men Behaving Badly is an amazing show that I recently purchased on dvd and have been amazed to see that this show has stood the tests of time so well. Ok to begin with I am going to straight away say that I am not going to base any of this review on the first series due the fact that I am not a fan of Harry Enfield in this but from the second series onwards the show truly found its form with the introduction of Neil Morrissey as Tony. The show centres on four main characters - Tony and Gary who are flat mates, Debra who lives in the flat upstairs and Dorothy who is Gary's girlfriend and is a humour based on Gary and Tony loving drinking, childish humour and behaviour, ... WHAT IS IT ABOUT: Men Behaving Badly is a British sitcom from the 90s that centers around Gary and Tony, two immature flat-mates who love nothing more than drinking beer, talking about women and farting. The other stars are Gary's long suffering girlfriend, Dorothy, and the girl next door, Deborah. WAS IT ANY GOOD: Here's another show I grew up with, and have had the benefit of re-watching a bit lately. Like many shows I loved as a teen, the joy of this show is the laddish behaviour, where Tony and Gary pretty much do everything I did/wanted to do as a teenager. An example of the humour: Deborah is talking to Tony, who seems distracted. ... Read the complete review

Men Behaving Badly was a comedy show that starred Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey as two blokes who shared a flat together, their lives revolved around getting drunk and in Clunes case treting his girlfriend really badly while Morrissey character was obsessed with the girl in the upstairs flat played by Leslie Ash, she however was not really attracted to him although after many episodes in which she led him on only to reject him finally they did start going out. The humour in this show was rather crude at times and very laddish but it was also very funny and there was some good visual humour as well. Perhaps my favourite episode was the one where the boys ... Read the complete review
