Metroplis

I hear Metropolis is being released on video this month and I for one will be buying a copy. This was shown on ITV when a lot other channels were also screening similar deries. Basically it is about a group of 6 uni graduates who all move to London and it follows their lives. The characters were all very different. There is the career girl with the boyfriend (Matthew Rhys) who is at a bit of a crossroads not knowing what to do with his life and as a result not doing much, oh and she also has a millionnaire lover whom she eventually runs of with. Matthew Rhys, Matthew Rhys, Matthew Rhys...that says it all!! For me the single most successful aspect of Metroplolis was the pressence of 25 year old Welsh actor, Matthew Rhys. His performance was consistantly excellent in a production that veered from funny to sad, from innovative to down right hackneyed.
