Miami 7 (Disney Channel)

I must admit that being in my late teens and liking S club7 is not something I like to admit to on a regular basis, but it just HAS to be done. I was captivated by these lively youngsters way back in the summer of 1999, and I have loved them and their side-splittingly fun TV show ever since. Set in a sun drenched Miami, these 7 happy-go-lucky lovelies sing and dance and do practically anything else you can think of. I love it because it is so universally fun. I just love to watch every single episode of this tv series full of S club 7 energy! I just loved it! I know that the plot is not the best, but as a fan of S club 7 it was nice to see them act in a tv series and sing as well. And Miami looks so gorgeous. S club 7 tv series is basically about the group, their long way to stardom. It's written in a way that younger fans can watch it, but it was fun to watch for an older fan like me as well. Why? One of the biggest unsolved mysteries of this day and age is how the members of s club actually became so. None of them can sing and as this extremely dire show proves, none of them can act. The "jokes" in the show are not even remotely funny - not even to my 6 year old cousin. They are repeated every episode and get less and less funyy each time! The acting is abysmal and the songs that are put in are merely to boost record sales and have no actual purpose. Although the teenage toppers of the charts are fabulous singers i think that their acting leaves room for improvement. The programme Miami 7 doesn't have the real potential to be really popular like other programmes and doesn't seem to have an appeal. After seeing this once or twice due to one of my boys i can't say i was really impressed. I don't want to be too harsh but they're not really born actors and i'd advise them to stick to what they're best at...singing. Listen, this is not a bad little show for the kids. My daughter is 5 and she LOVES it. This type of show is remeniscent of the old "Double Deckers" or "The Monkeys" (Gawd I'm showing me age now aren't i?) where a bunch of kids do stuff, sing stuff .. you know, all good clean fun. S Club 7 are very popular amongst the younger age group. Their songs are listenable, and there's always one song in every program and frankly I don't think their acting's bad either.
