Playhouse Disney is on channel 611 if you have Sky, although I'm not sure which channel it's on if you have another provider. The channel has many different Disney cartoons such as Little Einsteins, bear in the Big Blue House, Franny's Feet, and gthis one: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

The cartoon runs an episode each day in four different slots, and each episode lasts about 20 minutes, as do most of the other programmes. The cartoon features 3D cartoon versions of the favourite Mickey Mouse characters such as Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy and meanie Pete. Each episode has interaction with the viewers at home as they go through an adventure and need help identifying the answers to puzzles.

It is good entertainment for kids, and it also helps them in an educative way, too. One particular episode features Mickey having to save his friends from incidents such as floating away holding onto a balloon by using physics and maths problems, and also by identifying differences between left and right, etc. I find this education side is often lost on my son, although subconsciously he is picking stuff up the more he watches.

It is very easy to let him watch constantly, as the programmes do tend to blend into one, but they do repeat the same episode during the day. Currently, they have made two series, which is roughly 50 episodes, but it seems as if they keep replaying the same handful over and over. I do try and limit the amount of time he spends watching these programmes, as the education has a limit, and watching too much TV can't be good for him.

Overall, I do like this programme, and often find myself watching it as well! It is, however, limited, and I find that it is more as an entertainment value than for education, and the learning side of it is merely added to appease parents into letting their kids watch it. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse airs daily, about 4 times a day, but the channel goes on until midnight, if you want to watch after they've gone to bed!

Summary: Good TV programme featuring Mickey and friends
