Mighty Morphing Power RangersNewest Review: ... team are armed with a range of hi-tech weaponry including laser guns, power swords, Power Blasters and gigantic combat robots known as Zords. These weapons, and the Zords can be combined when it is needed. This is often done to defeat the monster of the week thus emphasising the show's themes of teamwork. Now admittedly the show isn't without faults. It's footage is corny, but that's a fault of the Japanese show that the footage comes from, but remember the target for these shows is young children and if you watched this as a child? I'd bet you didn't notice. The villains plans are flawed, almost always - but again, kids don't want ... more |

The Power Rangers are a team of multi-coloured superheroes. This team consists of a number of 'typical' teenage school students who are given super powers by the inter-dimensional being Zordon. Using these Morphers the teens can morph into the super powered team known simply as the Power Rangers. Mighty Morphing Power Rangers is one of those TV shows that just shouldn't be popular, but it is! Power Rangers feature bad special effects and over the top martial arts movements, complete with swishing air noises as the characters chop the air! Yet kids love them and, try as I might, I cannot see the attraction. Power Rangers have evolved over the years, spawning different forms of Power Ranger, but the main setup at the beginning was a group of five high school students who had the ability to don a ridiculously global hypercolour suit and helmet and team together to fight strange aliens from dominating our world. Each were know, other than by their names, ... Read the complete review

This is a definate case of flogging a dead horse. The show should have been stopped after the original members left the show. But in the their so called wisdom the creaters of the Power Rangers have gradually changed the show introducing new rangers, new badies and a new base in space. In their attempt to make a better quality show, it has resulted in the whole thing becoming even more tacky. I was quite surprised to find that the show was still running, after all the compaints from parents on the violence of the programme. Unfortunately it is a has been and perhaps it's time to pull the plug on the show, when there are far better quality ... Read the complete review

Another childrens craze over, where some were good like Transformers. (original) The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers were not. The basic plot was that a few american teenagers were selected to constantly save the world. They had control of giant dinosaur robots, that when linked together would create the Megazoid, and battle one monster that the Villian called Rita sent, why not send ten, better chance of winning. The thing that bugged me a bout this programme was that firstly why did, the villian constantly attack this one small town of the USA, why not attack somewhere the power rangers were not going to be. Also why were the army not called in to ... Read the complete review

A while ago I caught part of this series on Television. Basically a bunch of teenagers were recruited by Zordon a alien trapped in another dimension. These kids were given special powers to fight evil and they always won more or less. The villains kept changing throughout the series to keep the interest going. This Tv series wasn’t bad when I first saw it but sitting with the younger brother who is watching it on fox kids at the moment I wonder why I ever watched it (Amy Jo Johnson I think). If you want to keep the kids quite then get them to watch this otherwise leave this series alone. ... Read the complete review
