Advantages: Keeps you guessing as to the identity of the mole and has some really good challenges.
Disadvantages: Team members sometimes seem to do very unusual actions when it is so easy.
Now that 'The Mole' finally finishes after it's highly successful run tommorow, I felt that i just had to give the big thumbs up to this programme. Hopefully the series will be shown again sometime for all of those who missed it first time around. For a long time now, Channel 5 has traditionally lost out badly to other T.V channels in the Friday night entertainment battle. Going for the more action/adventure gameshow, it has only attracted small audiences and has produced some genuine rubbish. However, this has recently been altered by the appearance of the new show 'The Mole'. For those of you who don't know this a is a gameshow which lasts for 9 weeks in which there are ten contestants including a 'mole who has to 'sabotage' the teams efforts to win £200 000. To win the money the team must complete a set of challenges in each programme. Each challenge carries a certain value in money but meanwhile the mole must secretly try and stop the team winning the cash. At the end of each episode a team member (the mole cannot go out of the show however)is eliminated because they answered the least questions about the goings on in that episode correctly. In this manner 10 contestants have been whittled down to just three for the final: Zi, Jennifer and David. One is the mole, one is going to be the winner and one will go away with nothing. With over £100 000 at stake, it is going to be a tense old night. I personally would have loved to have been on the show as the contestants got to do loads of great activities such as parachuting, paintballing and an army style 'death slide' over 300 feet long. Overall it is has been a great series to liven up the Friday night T.V schedules.
