Advantages: funny and clever
Disadvantages: none
When this show first hit the screens, there wasn't that much hype concerning it, but then after the first few episodes, it started to get reviews from such establishments as the Daily Mail. Since then, it has received an adequate following and for me was extremely compelling and addictive to watch! I found that the narator/presenter was an essential part to the show's success. His calm and clear voice suggested who was the Mole to the audience, and he seemed to get on with all the contestants well. After 21 days, and 7 people leaving the show, the final 3 contestants were left. Anyone familiar with the show, would know they were Zi, David and Jenny. The final episode showed how the mole sensationally sabotaged the other contestants dremas of huge amounts of money. This episode was very funny, as it showed the behid the scenes of how the mole did his work. David, the mole had been briefed 3 months before the show began, with news of all the activities and all the contestants. He also had secret midnight meetings with the series producer on sabatoge plans. The show also outlined subtle clues that the audience could have picked on, for example taking the first word of each of the shows uttered by the presenter, would become 'The first words reveal the mole is david' or words to that effect. The intelligence of the show is great with the entertainment value added.

- 14/03/01 One disadvantage is that it was on Channel 5. If it was on one of the other channels, I feel a lot more people would have been hooked on it. |
