Moonlighting ran from 1985 - 89, an unusual crime / comedy show with a difference. The mix of Bruce Willis's charm and Cybill Shepherd's beauty made for compulsive viewing. The Blue Moon detective agency was owned as a tax loss by ex model Maddie Hayes. When her accountant ran off with her investments, Maddie was forced to work alongside Bruce Willis. MOONLIGHTING can only be described as one of the best television shows ever made (and yes, I know, I say that about quite a few shows, but its true!). It began in 1985 as a reasonably typical comedy-drama-thriller show. It starred Cybill Shepherd as model Maddie Hayes. Maddie found that her accountant had run off with all her money, and she had to let go of all her business interests. Except one - the Blue Moon Detective Agency in Los Angeles. The manager of the agency (until Maddie took over that is) was David Addison, played by Bruce Willis. Throughout the series, Maddie and David had a love-hate relationship.
