Advantages: Gives you a laugh if nothing else

Disadvantages: its so repetative and really fake.

Most Haunted has been around for years. In the many years of broadcasting they have released umpteen live shows and I think that we are on the tenth series that is due for release shortly. Most Haunted are a paranormal investigation team that do research and in the ghostly goings on of old and new buildings and their surroundings. The two main investigators are Yvette Fielding, and her husband Karl Beattie, and also in their investigation team they have Kath (who used to do the hair and make-up), Stuart (who is Yvette's cousin), Keiron (who is the parapsychologist and the resident sceptic), and a medium psychic who at the moment is called Brian Sheppard.

Over the past 7 nights most haunted has been in an abandoned mental asylum in Wales. Each night has had a different theme, like underground, or isolated and all the investigations go under that theme for the one night.

I think that Most Haunted really takes it too far sometimes with its 'findings'. For instance in this past week's investigation they have reported that there have been a lot of stones thrown but you conveniently don't get to see where they have come from and when they do pan the camera round to the supposed location of the source, it would have given anyone time to move that was the culprit. The thing that really annoys me as well is that every time that Karl and Stuart are together there are always major eruptions with spiritual activity. This is getting old, yeah maybe this is genuine or maybe this is staged we will never know, but it never seems to happen with any other team members. Its like reading a book that you know the ending too, you can predict it before it evens happens.

Saying this I do however still watch Most Haunted when it is on. I tend to watch the live ones more as they have better entertainment value, even if it is for the comedy factor.
