This is a must see T.V programme for anyone that is into the paranormal.
The idea you all wish you had had, money for old rope.
The basics of the show are Yvette Fielding ex Blue Peter presenter and her husband Karl Beattie together with a crew of camera men and sound men plus other tag alongs go around haunted locations in the U.K looking for things that go bump in the night.
The show first shown on Living T.V in 2002 has a cult following.
Tagging along with them are also a couple of mediums Chris Conway and Chris Robinson who has dreams in which spirits tell him the future(yes ive had that too its called vodka and I can predict I will spend the next day over the toilet ralphing)and a sceptic Dr Ciaran O Keeffe who is supposed to be there to give a scientific explanation of the occurences during the programme.

The team walk around the chosen locations in the dark and use night vision to enhance the spookiness of the show.
The sad thing is you never actualy see or hear anything really, is it genuine?my answer is probably not but still wouldnt watch it on my own!
There have also been quite a lot of most haunted live specials that last for around 4 hours per night usualy Halloween time.
My advice is to record them as the amount of breaks that are in this show are a joke, around every 15 minutes.

There was an article in the mirror in 2005 that aparantly exposed the then medium of the show Dereck Acorah as a fake and also stated that footage of the show was obtained showing members of the show faking knocks and bumps.
Dereck Acorah has since left the show but the show goes on.

My thoughts on the show are if you want a bit of a laugh then watch it but take it with a pinch of salt (or maybe you might like to try a circle and stand in it).I mean what self respecting spirit would be in a cold dark spooky location at night anyway bet they are tucked up in spirit world with a good book.
