Advantages: Umm, I'll get back to you...
Disadvantages: see below
The typewriter. The music. If ever there was a sign that you should be getting out more - this is it! Surely you can find something better to do on a Sunday afternoon than watch this cheap imported pap! All credit to Ms Lansbury - she's managed to convince everyone that it's a different story every week, when in actual fact it's come from the same 'how to write programmes that will sell across the world with very little effort' kit. She's made lots of money from it and all credit to her, but if I see that typewriter and hear that music one more time, I think I'll cry! The main problem is, how on earth does she know everyone who's murdered and why does she keep poking her nose in? You can really see it in this country can't you - 'Jilly Cooper solves violent murder' - somehow, I don't think so! I'm sure many people love this show, and it's their fault that it has been around for so long, like it's their fault Des O'Connor still has a show and I could gone on, but I've just caught a glimpse of a typewriter on TV...

- 10/10/00 I don't think it's quite as bad as you make out, but I also wonder why she always seems to be in the close vicinity of these murders. A cynic might suggest that SHE should be the prime suspect each week! :) |

- 10/10/00 I'll admit to watching this a few years ago on Sundays....and yes it was only when I didn't have anything better to do. I can't understand why people keep watching it. |

- 10/10/00 I agree, why show re-runs of this rubbish when you have the A-Team, Knightrider, even Streethawk to put on instead. Hopefully one day someone will drop that precious typewriter of hers on her head and call an end to the series!! |
