Kerrang TV: ... my opinion, Kerrang TV is too main stream, playing mostly old nu-metal videos like linkin park, limp bizkit and staind that most people have moved on from now, and the pretty much all the new material they play is in the CD singles charts so people like me cannot watch this channel to find new bands to enjoy. It is ok, but i would much rather it had a range of music from upcoming bands of this kind of music rather...

... know that show Stars In Their Eyes on Saturday evenings? Well it mught just be me but I'm sure that show has been on since the dawn of time and actually has never been any good, all it does is giev birth the the careers of glorified pub singers on the clubs and cruises circuit. You could also say that it was the pre-cursor for the likes of Pop Idol etc, at least Pop Idol is good for a laugh in the audition stages. Anyway trust MTV to give this kind of concept a youth spin. The show offers fans the chance to become their pop idols by learning the dance steps, wearing the clothes and getting to mimic their star in a reproduction of the artists most popular music ...

Liam+ Rock Profile
... I first stumbled across Rock Profile one afternoon on Play UK. I had vaguely heard of it but never took an interest. I left it on and found it to be quite amusing. The way Matt Lucas and David Walliams portray their popstars is Pure Genius. They are hardly impressionists, but the quick gags and answers to the questions Jamie Theakston gives, I found, are very funny. The show mainly consists of only Matt (George Dawes from Shooting Stars), Dave (Attachments, Cruise of the Gods etc) and Jamie (The Priory etc). Some episodes have extras if there are more than two members of a band, i.e Duran Duran (Duran) and the Bee Gees. Jamie Theakston is a good presen...

djevara454 Kerrang TV
... dont get me wrong I like the music that kerrang mucis channel plays but I've noticed that it plays very few different songs as its a mainstream TV program and you get the little kids phoning up every 5 mins and requesting the same song. You know the type of kids, the ones that go round with the mini skateboards shopping with their mums and wears blinkn 182 and linkin park hoodies. They wouldn't know what rock and roll was if it came up and smacked them on the chest, though the picture of chester that is. I tend to like MTV2 alot more than kerrang because it plays alot more music and all the underground stuff as well. Kerrang TV has helped pop/rock music ver...
