'My family' is a situation comedy programme that is quite long running. The programme has reruns on gold and also has new episodes on BBC 1.

My family is a comedy programme about a family who have many problems and many dysfunctions but somehow still manage to carry on with life and still have love for each other.

Ben and Susan Harper have three grown up kids, Nick, Michael and their older sister who's name escapes me, who are trying to make a go at life. There is also the live in 'sister' who is not related to them 'Abby' and Ben's work colleague. Together they create fun, laughter, tears and absolute hilarity all in the space of half an hour.

The programme is definitely worth watching and you will probably find yourself getting slowly addicted! The show has special Christmas episodes as well.

As you watch it you will see people you know in the characters on the screen. You will slowly start to identify with the characters and the situations they go through.

Summary: Worth watching - very funny

I agree with Mjc, some information about the characters, individual persona's, and the type of things that the family as a whole gets up would be much more useful for the unknowing reader.
