I first came across 'My Friends Tigger & Pooh' when the channel Playhouse Disney was recommended to me by a friend. Although my daughter is only 9 months old and doesn't understand what the programme is about, she sits, stares and laughs. I have never been a fan of the the Winnie the Pooh stories and find the films to be very dull to look at so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this new and updated version. It is very bright to look at and has music which my daughter recognises instantly and which grabs her attention. My Friends Tigger and Pooh is a cartoon show currently airing on Playhouse Disney channel (Sky 611). It is aimed at pre-school children and centres around the well known characters Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. When I first saw this show I didn't like it. It seemed far to Americanised and not at all like the classic Winnie the Pooh I remembered from my childhood. I'm glad I gave it a second chance though as my son loves it and it has grown on me.
