Advantages: funny tv series
Disadvantages: can sometimes be a bit repetetive
My Name Is Earl is an American comedy tv series about a hill billy/ criminal (or now ex criminal) called Earl, who's now driven by Karma to do good and right his wrongs.
Earl one day wins the lottery but then gets hit by a car and comes across Carson Daily on tv who talks about Karma and how it works. Earl then decides that him winning the lottery and getting run over on the same day has to be Karma and decides to write a list of all the wrongs he did and wants to cross them off one by one.
He lives with his brother Randy in a motel and has separated his wife Joy, who's now with another man and neither of the 2 kids Joy had whilst being married to Earl were his.
Earl tries to help everyone he ever hurt but keeping on the right path sometimes proves a little difficult for him. He sometimes takes the Karma thing so far, that he gets himself into more trouble and finds it hard to keep believing that he can do good and that good will come to him in return.
All in all an amusing series that has kept me entertained so far. Some episodes are better than others but I guess that's the case with a lot of tv series these days.
Summary: entertaining comedy series

- 22/11/08 Its a sweet little comedy but it can make you drift in and out because of the lack of the big laugh. |
